Career Bridge Program Overview

By the year 2020, 76% of all jobs in the District of Columbia will require some post-secondary education beyond high school. While many students seek out 4-year and 2-year colleges, a number of students choose to pursue post-secondary pathways such as apprenticeships, the military, workforce development programs or employment. The DCPS Career Bridge Program provides opportunities to expose students to career coaching, career exposure events, professional skill building, and internship opportunities, so students, ultimately, secure a post-secondary plan.
